Pontoon Boat Reviews

What makes Inflatable Pontoon Boats appealing is the fact that, like all inflatable crafts, they can easily be transported to your destination and then just as easily launched. Unlike solid boats, which often will require a trailer, an Inflatable Pontoon can be stored away in the trunk of any car or suitably medium sized vehicle.

Pros of the Foldcat Pontoon Boat: It is built to last and for endurance with a 1000 denier fabric held together through the center by a very rigid fabric weave, and it is also coated with multiple layers of pvc to make it 100% air tight.

With its easy folding frame, that already makes it easy to store and transport, assembling the craft will take no more than five minutes to accomplish.

All in all this is a very sturdy boat that allows any fisherman to navigate to fishing spots that are otherwise hard to get to using normal run of the mill boats, allowing to cast from a standing position.

Downside: Like any Inflatable Pontoon boat it is not advisable to use during spells of extreme cold weather where the presence of ice could puncture the boat.

Guarantee? It is covered by a 30 day on the water guarantee that will furnish a full refund if the boat is not to the customer satisfaction. As well as this, a 3 year warranty is also added to protect against manufacturer defects. At the time of writing the 30 day on the water guarantee runs until the 31 of May 2007.

Value for Money Rating: A definite 4 out of 5 stars. The Inflatable Pontoon Boat gives you great value for money, and the clincher for me is the easy way ti can be stored, transported and launched; making it an hassle free experience. And the price is definitely right.

My Sea Eagle Foldcat 440 only lasted for three outings !!! from garage to the water ramp launch and never near a dock. also the leaks were in the inside of the pontoons, great boat if you just want to look at it rolled up in a garage just don't dare use it !!!

I'va had a seaeagle Kayak for over ten years with out one leak. I have shot cat 4 rapids and have used it on salt water as well. I have beat it, hook it, shoved it and anything else you can think of. All this without one leak. The material they make their pontoons out of is good stuff. I think James is blowing his pontoon up on nails then jumping on it. There may have been a manufactured error with it. They have a 3 year warrenty dude.
